Swimwear Preview...

Mostly for Mimi...

Rashgard and hat... I totally fell in love with this when I saw it.

This is the tank suit Camille picked out on her own. The fish on the right goes from back to front.
Hurry summer... hurry fast!

Still Around

We're still around. We've just been busy and it's been tough to find time to post. Last weekend we went to the Aquarium. Big hit... but guess who forgot to bring the camera! Camille and I had a great time checking out the fish, crabs, penguins and even hippos! Mimi and Bop came along too. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday.

Camille keeps busy with sporatic modeling jobs and weekly dance class. She has expressed interest in "playing the piano like Daddy" and we are considering trying to find a piano teacher for the summer, after dance class is finished for the year. Recently we found out that Camille passed the Kindergarten Readiness Test at her preschool, so she will be enrolled in the Pre-K/Kindergarten class at Castle Academy this fall. She is the youngest child chosen to participate in this program, but the headmaster at the school feels she is ready and will be fine, so I guess we will give it a try. We'll receive more information next week at the Academy's open house.

Mike and continue to grind away at our respective jobs. I already need a vacation!

Chinese New Year

Today I was feeling well enough to go to Camille's pre-school and do a short program for Chinese New Year.

We started off by reading the book "My First Chinese New Year." It's not my favorite, but it talks about Chinese New Year and the class really enjoyed the pictures.
Next we did a craft to make fireworks on paper. The kids really enjoyed this craft!

And the finished product came out pretty well!
Then we made red paper lanterns for good luck, just like in the book!
Colin, Camille and Jack show off their lanterns.
We finished the morning with a fresh fruit snack. Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
